problematic black hottie
what is your show called?
(currently) Worldwide Hour
what kind of sounds, scenes and styles can we expect to hear on the show?
Afro diasporic inspired dance music with a focus on femme artists
what influences have shaped your approach to the show?
I grew up back and forth between Africa and America and that really shaped my soundscape hearing the music being played on the radio in America and clubs in Kenya.
if your show could transport your listener to any location at any time, where would it be?
I would say being a young African black girl traveling around the world and discovering the music people enjoyed in each place you went to.
can you share one key highlight that you’ve shared with the foundation.fm airwaves? There is such a deep and profound connection to all the music made in the African Diaspora and I love to share those sonic, cultural, and spiritual connections.
if you could manifest one dream guest, who would it be? Hmm...
I would say maybe JYOTY or FS Green.
