with the help of my family and friends, i curated a show full of music which reminds people of their heritage - whether it’s songs played whilst they were growing up, or remind them of their family, perhaps songs which remind people of lives they lived before journeys of migration. music tells us so many stories; of heritage, identity, lineage, resistance and movement, as well as family, joy and nostalgia.
