vigilante
what is your show called?
sessions + vigilante
what kind of sounds, scenes and styles can we expect to hear on the show?
a broad spectrum of bass and global music. my goal is to fuse together different genres to create high-energy moments. expect anything from jungle, speed garage, hardgroove to baile funk, percussive, hard drums etc
what influences have shaped your approach to the show?
I have 2 main influences for the show: 1) clubs - I want to provide a hard-hitting mix that would get you going in a club 2) records - I recently started my own record collection and have received my dads old record collection. I’ve loved digging in it and would love to share that digging joy and exploration with listeners
if your show could transport your listener to any location at any time, where would it be?
early 1990s warehouse rave
can you share one key highlight that you’ve shared with the foundation.fm airwaves?
my fav foundation memory was my first foundation mix. I was new to live radio and foundation took a chance on me. the set ended with critical sound’s if we ever and a lil skanking session with the producer ricardo in the studio. It’s still one of my fav sets to this day
if you could manifest one dream guest, who would it be?
sully - he’s an absolute jungle genius and I’m obsessed with his productions
